Haim’s father was Jewish and his mother was Christian. He joined “Hanoar Hatzioni” at an early age. He read many books about Judaism and Zionism. After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, Haim equipped himself with forged documents and became an underground activist. Haim traveled to country towns to distributed documents and money to the members of his movement so that they could escape from the camps and ghettos. He operated in a daring and determined way. After the war Haim emigrated to Australia.
